What would the point be on that? You need 3G speed to stream the video in the first place.
VTap doesn't work either. Nothing streams, full stop.

Just to experiment. You dont actually need 3g to connect to a stream, it's just takes longer to buffer.

You can turn off the shutter sound in the camera settings menu. No need to mod it.

I have a dutch version of the C905 and it only allows me to choose: Camera Shutter 1, 2 , 3 ,4 .

***secret**pervert**secret***

on all the SE phone's I've had you just put the phone into 'silent' mode (hold down # for a few secs).. try to use the camera now

haha

On UK c905 there is no option to turn it off, same as Dutch 1,2,3,4.
Silent mode works though.

Silent mode doesn't disable my camera shutter sound. Does anyone know which program can be used to acces the file system and has the ability to copy files ?

Over gprs. Neither opera or the default browser work. All my settings are correct, it just won't do it. I'm using vodafone, on and unbranded phone. I notice a lot of people on the vodafone forum are struggling with it and vodafone have no answer. Anyone got a clue?

Exactly the same with me. I'm on Voda UK with an unbranded C905 and youtube sticks on buffering no matter what connection I'm using.

Without 3G you won't have the speed to play the stream.

@ iainmann

It's getting on my nerves so much now. My K810i played Youtube videos no problem, so what's up with this? It seems to be more the phone than anything else, as people with branded firmware are having the problem too.

Youtube videos work fine for me. I used my wifi connection and it played audio and video synchronically. I selected Wifi1 under streaming settings.

But I don't have Wi-Fi and I want to set it up over GPRS, and get it to work like it should!

Hey guys,

I upgraded to a SE C905 on 2nd Nov, and soon noticed scratches running the keypad. I went back to the store today and was told it wasn't faulty! Aftrer I insisted, they told me I had to go to another branch to have an engineer look at it, and they'd only change it if he said it was faulty. The engineer said it was definately faulty and sent me straight back to the first store, where the handset came from, and made a note on the system telling them to exchange it. I got the new handset, and by the time I got to the car, I opened the slider a few times and found it had already made new scratches!

Now I'll have to go back to the store that said there was no fault, and ask for a 3rd handset! I'm not sure what they're gonna do, so I may give the SE Store on Oxfod street a call first.

Does anyone know how common this fault is? Is SE aware of it?

I'll be sorting it out on Monday morning, wish me luck

Not good at all, well at least the software is stable rather have scratches than a buggy fone

I ended up going to 3 different branches, tried 5 handsets, all of which scratched the keys when the slider was opened/closed. Finally got one that doesn't have the same problem. Some staff said it could be "bad batch". I think it's more like a design flaw.

But you're right, it's the only problem I've had with the C905, otherwise it really is great.

The 1st handset I had also had an issue with streaming, although I'm not sure it's the same as the issue vodafone users are having. Mine would say "connecting to media server", and a few seconds later "failed to connect to media server". A guy said there are settings to sort this out but he couldn't find the print-out. Anyone know anything about it?
