or i do kinda know if its the screen size, 480pixels wide. and hight... hmms i should be around 240 pixels but that is just a guess. did some eye measure just looking at the screen
it seems when you choose an image in x10 it gives you a rectangel and when it saves the phonebook thumb it saves the center of the rectangular for a square picture.
Edit, a sulotion for synxmypix would be that for every picture when it sets by the program you get the option to chose wich part of the images what will be used as you do when you manualy set them, takes some time yeah but it would look exactly as you would like except that you dont have to manualy add and choose the picture just the easy part.
