As anyone orderd from Phonee2udirect or mobileshop and got there handset yet...or is it only expansys who have them in the uk.
Its just Phones2u and mobileshop have some good deals.
Ive had a sim free one from expansy but sent it back as £600 i thought was too much....so im going to get another on contract.
The max id pay for the handset would be £300 with max contract £25 per month over 12 months will expansys match this deal as ive found this on phones2u and mobileshop but they dont have them in stock.
Any ideas guys?
Cheers

Do you have the same.

I use the www-site.. not wap.
Uses the same as you.. I think you have to set some security-options somewhere.. I'll check around a bit when I get home from work. If I'll find something I'll let you know.

After using the phone for a while it i love it, but there is one major thing that frustrates me...i always felt that the flip closed on the previous series was sometimes a bit useless, could not add a contact or calender, couldnt use the browser, had to open the flip to go to different folders in messages...etc...so i deciede to remove the flip....now in the p990 version the flip closed interface, it GREATLY improved, you can add contacts, calenders, notes...etc...really good edition, but now in flip open mode there is not the option to have a virtual flip closed option (like the other phones in the series had) this means without the flip, it becomes so much harder to operate...why have the moved one section forward, yet moved another backwards? Its a shame cause the phone is so much lighter and thiner without the flip...

@joel: i can see the mobil.svt.se streams from university, but not from home. same goes for sending emails to my remote smtp server at johnex.se, have to use the smtprelay1.telia.com for it to work at home. there might be a restriction in our router

I've been waiting for vodafone to release the p990.
Visits by myself and my brother have been made every other day and we learned an interesting thing.
On their (vodafone retail) intranet bulletin thingy they've got the p990 fully boxed and sim free for sale at £400 GBP.
I queried the gentlemen at the store and they rung their head office (could've been a ferret wheel for all i know) and they confirmed it.
After picking my jaw up from the floor I got an unpgrade quote:
I'm currently on
500 xnet mins
50 Video call mins
12 worth of messaging
Known as the hero tarriff when it was sold to me at £40 pm.
They quoted me an upgrade price of FREE and I'll get stop the clock put on.
But it'll be another 18 month contract, which i'm ok with.
What I mean to say is that why bother spending so much as an early adopter if you're gonna keep b!tching about how buggy the phone is.
My dad thought to treat our managers to the m600 a couple weeks b4 it was released. Our managers wouldn't quit moaning about it. once the release date had passed vodafone visited all our ppl and sorted their phones out, now they're happy as larry.
Ever seen a new born baby, like right after birth? No? well it looks pretty gross. But give it time and space and it'll get better.
Though one thing's for sure, SE screwed up the whole PR on this jobby.
Delayed and with an innappropriate amount of ram isn't a good start.
But i'm hoping that i can install programs to the memory stick.
Rant over.
Tea anyone?

@Gabster
Any chance you can tell me how thick the phone is with the flip and how thick without it?
@Zakc
Can't see why you won't be able to save progs on the memory stick, you can on every other SE phone that uses memory sticks. I may see what deal Orange can offer me in that case although I doubt the deal will be as good as yours as I take it your on a business plan and your company spends lot's of money with Vodafone? I just want to see the thing in the flesh or a dummy of one so I know if it's for me or not, the great functionalty is there but I want to see the size of it.
