Kiki has a fastport... on an Xperia? isnt that a little strange and kinda a step back in the wrong direction?

I don't think so. I'm happy that Kiki will have fastport - that's the right direction. The fast port should stay alive, despite the micro USB tryes to kill it.

And how the hell is having it's own proprietary port going in the right direction? SE needs to make all their upcoming use microSD and micro usb. Besides, Fast Port is bulky.

+1

3.5mm headphone jack and microUSB should be standard on all of their high end phones (and maybe lower end too). IMO, fastport is the devil.

No, that's not yet. Only from 2010 or something. Have you seen any SE device with micro usb? Or any LG device? Or any HTC device? Only Nokia and Samsung use MicroUSB yet and even that is in some of their devices, not all.

Fastport has worn out its welcome. Been here for ~5 years. SE already signed up to do the microUSB and microSD as mobile phone standards. I can't wait for them to become reality. Aino, Yari, and Satio are half way there with the microSD, now just get the microUSB connectivity.

In response to a PM that I got, a lot of stuff is going around about Rachael's processor and 4 inch screen etc. but I wouldn't trust most of it. It does look like an Android device but are making their own UI that is different to what Satio has i.e. SF. Satio has Symbian with its own 'skin' on top, the new UI should be different to the generic Symbian that Satio and 5800XM have. I don't know if they are doing the next step to A2 but thats a different story. This 'Rachael' that we have seen leaked may not be Android so keep your minds open.

And yes, the Nokia 12MP camera is better than a lot of digital cameras.
