Updating to Win 7 apparently was the best thing I could do with my pc. Now NFSMW runs well. A problem with CS:S I've got is that sometimes when I quit the game, the screen flashes a couple of times and the computer goes to hibernation mode. I can't restore it for some reason and have to reboot. And I have absolutely no idea why that happens.
