I prefer Z2 too. Speakers were hidden and less iPhone-ish, edging had more identity, more masculinity and less Nokia.
About the corners. There was a quick chit chat that the corners are made from a specially shock absorbent material. It was kind of washed over very quickly but it may explain the visible segmentation of the corner pieces.

I can second that.. think one of my biggest disappointments will be the non-release of the Z2 compact. Even if Sony didn't have any reason to release it.. :C
I kind of didn't like the Z1C that much, and it's the same for the Z3C
As I see no reason to chose Z3C over the Z1C, I think I'll stick with either Z1C or the iPhone 5s as upgrade from my ZL

I knew I had to reserve my judgement of the color until seen with my naked eyes.

So the previous brown colour rumor for z3 turns out to be true. Though it is not really brown. Still hoping for a dark brown colour. That will be awesome.

it's supposedly to lower the price of those cameras and to allow them to have bigger display viewfinders. also, they are supposed to make it easier to shoot in challenging situations since the viewfinder and lens can be taken apart for more versatile shooting.
