Have you find out anything about your settings why you can connect to the bank and I cant?

I've checked my settings for both my WiFi-account and the browser to see if there where something obvios... but not as I can tell...
Check the browsers settings to se that you accept Javascript and popups.
And aktivate plugin-programs and cookies. (Don't know if it have any effect but I have those on.

Guys does anyone know if there is a mediaplayer for the p990 that plays windows media audio aswell as mp3's?
If memory serves correct I recall unreal player for the p800 but I never got hold of it.
Or have things turned like pc's where you install codec packs etc?
I got a 4gb duo pro off ebay yesterday for £50 and it's one of the high speed sony ones Was a used one though but am still happy.
My younger brother is thinking that if there is no wma support then he's gonna plump for k800 hence the question.

there is talk of TCPMP being ported for UIQ3 but that might be a while, but as someone who has most of his music in WMA format I can also add that K800 can play them (though sometimes after a lengthy pause) but the current firmware is not great for WMA and doesn't seem able to show tag info when selecting the music although it does show it when playing a track

Hi chriswg52,
I am for one am really happy you are so pleased with your P990 and seem to encounter nothing more than a few minor irritations. But i do take exception on your view that those who own one and are currently reporting problems are not smart enough to use it properly and are just whingers for complaining. I don't know you or how smart you actually are as opposed to how smart and smug you feel, but some of those that are reporting faults are some of the most respected members of this forum.

You may well be prepared to accept what they are not but that does not make them wrong just that you operate with and expect lower standards than them. If you can not accept any criticism of a less than perfect product or your beloved SE you are truly sad IMO. It is their money and they have every right to complain and point out when things are wrong as you are to accept it.

Re: P990 workarounds

I have not had my P990 crash for while now (about 4-5 days) as i have stopped using Opera and am using Opera Mini in FC mode - which is very useable. Also as I start to get close to 9MB of free RAM with no apps running I re-boot my P990 (about every 2 days).

Now that I have stopped using Opera I have noticed that actually the least stable app is the Messaging client. I have had a number Kern Exec errors, tha latest was reason 'code 54' and also seemed to cause Task Manager to crash as well.

So until we get a firmware upgade I suggest you use Opera Mini and re-start your P990 as its RAM runs short and you should find you'll have fewer crashes.
