Went to Chester up north today & to Chester Zoo. I have never stood so close to a Lion before & they started roaring & it was so loud & deep the roar I have never heard it in person up close before!! Amazing!!

Yeah when we first heard them from a distance we thought it was on some big speaker. It had some bass in that roar. Am knackered now my bed feels ballisimo

Nice pics sean. Yeah that lion looks stunning with that close. I tell you lion roar is something not for weak hearted people. For them, one roar is enough to wet the pants.

Well I was in awe of the lions not scared cos I knew I was safe. The roar I got on video about four mins worth. We seen chimpanzies fighting too and pooing everywhere it stunk. The tigers were asleep hiding.
