I cant believe how bitter some people are about Portugal winning. The comments I am seeing from people looking for arguments amaze me.
I think people should be allowed to express their disappointment, if results did not go the way they were hoping. Portugal won the penalties because their keeper was excellent. France won because they totally outplayed Brazil. The above facts are evident, but the results are still crap for me. I'm not looking for an argument, I simply wanted to state my personal disappointment with the outcome of today's games, simple as that.

I'm actually supporting Germany now! I don't want France to win (although they did play some beautiful football in the Brazil game). Italy I just don't fancy, apart from Luca Toni. Portugal, not very likeable. So I suppose I should say: Deutschland über alles...

And this is how the English express themselves....
Quote:Unrest on the streets of St Helier began shortly after the Portugal win.
Officers sealed off an area containing many Portuguese shops and businesses as more than a-hundred-and-fifty fans clashed with police.
England fans threw bottles and glass at the riot police - deployed for only the second time in the island's history.

Look mate there are hooligans with all countries/teams fans, its just a minority and the problem is that usually that minority are amplified by the press which automatically makes the whole country seem bad. Anyway FIFA did actually say that the worst fans (in no particular order) come from Turkey, Italy and Poland. So it is annoying when the press do this and make England seem so bad due to some arses that only came to cause trouble. I mean look at the incident in Germany, the press automatically claimed that English fans were causing trouble, but the reality is that hundereds of German fans closed in and surrounded a small group (compared) of England fans and started trying to intimidate taunt them, the police were actually in there to get the English and other supporters/people away. I mean the same could be said about all countries in some way of another, for example Italian fans cause masses of trouble and problems where my nan lives in North-East London...
