Just back from my 1st pre christmas night out and tried to take some pics , all came out very very dark, think I must have tried every setting within the camera and yet not one seemed to work, can someone tell me where I'm going wrong, I just find the camera such a big disappointment.
PS no fingers in the way or plastic over the lens etc and have managed some basic indoor and daylight outdoor pics, even some great snaps from pitch black but cant seem to get anything from nightime outdoor, help !!!

@larry
Are we talking scenery or people you're having trouble with? Try disabling the flash for scenery if there is a small amount of other lighting. The exposure time will be long so you'll have to keep still. And try the twilight portrait mode if you're shooting people.

I had no problems on fw029, besides games & apps missing, after updating to fw037 starts troubles with lens cover, volume adjust, flash, you name it!
Today I went to service center and droped that "piece of artwork" for service. Have to wait couple of days, maybe. We will see

what happens next

It was general outdoor scenes, fairly well lit village centre street,shops, xmas tree, lights and lots of people but everything just came out dark, not black but tiny little lights hardly visable, I tried auto, twilight, change of iso etc but not one shot came out, its soooooooooo frustrating when I see some of the photo's posted here.

you might be covering up the light sensor, so hold your phone on the sides so you dont cover up the light sensor which is next to the LED lights

Does anyone know if the K850i can record a live video call?!
I just found out the moto razr v9 can - I'd be devasted if the K850 cannot ... since my provider will be offering the K850i next month ... I just might get one.

Guys, who has a k850 with a relatively new build week, and can tell if there is any progress with the well known build quality issues?
I know about the possible firmware issues, but thats just a question of time before a new firmware comes out.
I'm probably buying one with the swedish operator THREE and i will try to ivestigate what they have in stock right now.
