yeah but thats the thing.... when i reset the phone the button works just fine.....

but if im the only one with this problem, the problem must be hardware related, so i have to go to get it repaired

it's a firmware issue and it also happens on my c702, but only when I use the "update software" service... After that the button dont work, so I need to switch off/on the phone... So you don't need to go to service, just wait the new firmware release

cheers

Ummmm... Guys can you help me?

The thing is that i wanna update my C702 firmware. Currently its R3CA037. The menus are kinda laggy and when i try texting while listening to music, its laggs like hell. So i just wanna know whether updating the firmware would solve this problem?

in my experience, updating the firmware always results in a performance boost.

It does improve a bit, first of all the latest firmy (R3DA029) causes the flash animations to stop playing when you multitask so the CPU gains a bit more free memory.

What exactly do you mean with a blackout? A phone restart?

Not really, my W980 became a bit sluggish after update.

@gtr83
yeah, the phone restart itself, but it wont turned on again
just hang up with the camera shortcut key lighted up ( i mean the 3,6,9,# )
and i have to flashed it with seus in order to get my phone back to normal state
i almost flashed it everyday
what do you think guys?
