NOT playing DIVX files is a BIG disadvantage for a media phone...
I don't care about not having xenon flash cause it's not a camera phone... but divx player is basic nowdays...especially for non-smartphones ...

Too bad..SE.. (maybe another slow CPU that could hardly manage to play divx )

It has the media go windows application, which if used to transfer files will convert them to proper video and audio formats for best experience in the W995. Assuming the media go application can handle DivX as well, I don't see the big issue here going that route rather than playing DivX directly on W995.

There sth that called TIME .......
Do you now how much time needs to convert a DIVX file to MP4?At least 10x the time you need to "copy paste" the divx file to the memory card...
So yes there is an issue here...
Further more people (not from UK or USA of course) use sth called subtitles to many movies .... and i don't think MediaGo supports this feature..

There is also something called a very good computer(4GB of ram and such) and I think SE covered the time as well. If they did and it goes at a much faster pace then before they got something. And all it is, is a format. Or am I missing something? I don't follow too much on format differences.

CPU or BATTERIES

Which one is more important for phone, faster CPU more important than lasting long batteries life LOL! what your idiot hell can think with thing like that.

If I want faster CPU I will give my choice for Intel 7i extreme, it will answer my taste.

Even if it supported DivX out of the box, I would guess you still would have to convert your DivX to a bit rate and resolution that is supported by the device anyway. The whole purpose with media go is that you should not have to care about such things. How well that works in reality, remains to be seen.
