Bonovox, did you read the article ? I had been following the case and I certainly like the judges reasoning which basically is that companies should not be allowed to do what Apple is doing and beat up on their competition through the use or abuse of the court process.
Until Apple came along most of this did not happen. Most cases were settled and there were hardly any cases of products being held up over patents.

Apple seems to now have their sights set on the SGS3 for patent infringement. Hopefully they don't succeed.

Regards

@ Prom1 - my beef with Apple started when they lied about antenna gate and subsequently tried to assume we were all too stupid to realise they were telling lies and then a couple of months ago they also claimed by submitting a patent that only their phones be able to multitask. So theyre trying to get every other phone out there banned and make it so to buy a mobile phone your only chance would be an iphone. Sorry no chance. I'm not a sheep.

It's so simple as that. No need for long winded discussions or issues about patents. My beef is with Apple's behaviour this past two years which has been appauling.

I'm a sheep,Sean the sheep Anyway GS3 & GS2 owners now have a Jelly Bean custom Rom. As for raising my heart rate people on here seem to think that when I have a go at someone or have my say on something that I'm getting stressed and having a tantrum behind the screen. It's quite the opposite am a calm person infact.

A half baked rom,that is.
What works, what doesn't—
Working: device boot | LED-flash | SD card (internal-only) | MTP (can't copy files) | ADB | Vibration | SuperUser | GSM | Network Data |
Not working: WiFi | Bluetooth | Camera | Google Now/Google Search | Audio

Still a long way to go but these devs seem to fly these days.Keeping a beady eye all over the place for JB on the S2.

Just a warning to prospective GS3 buyers. The initial batch of GS3 had a Sony camera module which took great pictures with minimal noise but due to the shortage of Sony sensors, Samsung is using its own camera modules in the latest batch of GS3 which take average photos with a lot of noise.
