As mentioned a few posts ago, R2AA is out in Singapore. Just bought the misses a k700 this morning, and its preloaded with R2AA.
However, NO nokia like search of the phonebook, in fact works exactly like the R2L. This is the feature I'm waiting for for my own k700...
Come on SE, get it together!!

Search on R2AA doesn't work in the sam way as in R2L! There is way to enter few letters searching for person, but still some limitations.

@vee
No, on the R2AA003 released by SE in Singapore, the search is exactly the same as in R2L.
Remember when R2AA was first released, it had this feature. Then the service centers pulled the version for whatever reason. Seems to be back now, however the multicharacter phonebook search is no longer present in the current R2AA.

That's probably because that function caused vital problems for many users where they by mistake deleted contacts in their phonebook. When you had choosen a couple of characters and wanted to delete one or two, it was natural to press the delete key (C). That didn't delete the entered characters though, instead it deleted the current contact if "Yes" was pressed.

@ Cyber
yes might be. It would be very useful if they disable deleting contacts that way anyway. At least when browsing through the phonebook.
If I am in the hurry I always tend to press C for some reason. It must be on the psychological base ;-).
