@tranced:

Oh I see. Thanks. I may just whack it on the phone and try it out later.

@all modders:

Is it possible for someone to take the w800i stock 4.5 driver and give an option for infinite focus - that's all I really want. We know this stock driver is very good and I love using infinite focus for group and landscape shots but all of your drivers have things that people like and things that people don't like, it's a preference thing I guess.

I'm going on holiday on Saturday, lake fishing, and I want to be able to take photos of all the fish we have caught (yes, I'm hoping to catch some) and the autofocus will not work correctly taking a pic of someone with their net of fish as the angle of attack will conflict with the depth of field and either the person or the net of fish will be out of focus.

Can a camdriver expert help me out here?

Thanks,
Brian.

Supermode version 6.5 (TEST 2) (test 1 passed)

link1: http://www.sendspace.com/file/c7clu3
link2: http://www.mediafire.com/?6ctovgmdhlz

first of all big cup of ice creams for aabg & nV for their support with MXE-60 and patience

Code:
changelog:
- fix: lack of MXE-60 synchronization (reported by aabg)
- fix: AE (un)lock cannot be done when focus is in manual mode
- improve: new compression rules to avoid camera crash (especially for EM and MXE-60)
- improve: for now shutter speed change is not visible in realtime on viewfinder
because of annoying slow reaction and blocking autofocus mechanism (ENM, value above 2.4)
which makes impossible to take snapshot.
realtime preview is available only on demand (read point 7)

1. MXE sync is better now, probably not in 100% cases but more improvements can be done
2. for now auto exposure (un)lock can be done whenever you want
3. crash = neverending story, give it a try now
4. improve with highest priority. why should i watch something which makes taking snapshot slower or even makes impossible to take snapshot? try to enable night mode and set shutter speed to 2.5 or more in 6.4 driver - now you know what i'm talking about? if you want to enable realtime shutter speed effect preview just press snapshot button and press it again to disable preview. preview works also for EM and ENM. if preview is enabled and you will change shutter speed then preview will be updated to selected value. after snapshot preview is disabled to shorten time necessary to take next snapshot

if you will find issue or bug then describe it (most exactly as you can) using PM

@raider

Awesome driver mate. Just wondering if options like focus lock and bracketing can be achieved by modding these drivers. It would be awesome to be able to auto focus and lock the focus at that value. It could be achieved by switching to manual focus with the value gained from auto focusing. exposure could be achieved in the burst mode by incrementing the ev after each shot. Will all this be possible. Just a thought! Again, Great work!!!

PS: in your driver if i have NM on and shutter speed at 4.0 then what will the shutter speed be?

Raider: half click on default with EM enabled makes the shutter speed go REALLY slow...is that what you intended? This makes things really difficult...

realy good driver indeed...but a little tricky to use...but this is just a test version right? hopefully the FINAL version will come, and not so many variables to deal with...
