Yes it does have manual if you look at the photo of the top of the camera the mode dial has a M on it. I have no idea why he said that. This camera is new on the market and from what I have read have been selling out across the globe. Sony have not been able to keep up cos of the disaster in Japan. Hope your well Ceaser.

@ceaser2008: Yes brother I’ve lost that amount money in stock market. My father has also lost more than me. Not only us, every people (around 3 millions) on stock market have lost their money except government back few gamblers. There was a scam. A political party which is now on power, every time when they come to power, there are must be fall on stock market. It is now open secret in our country. They did on 1996 and again have done on 2011. If you googling, then you’ll find some news. In last election in our country, I gave vote first time in my life to this party, now they give us this as a reward. I’ve learn my lessons. Hope on next election I won’t make same mistake again.
Yes I’m a student. I’m going to finish my bachelor degree (computer science and engineer), I’m on last semester. Beside study I’m involving with the stock market.
