i can deply recomended to DPY(EMMA) flash your k850 instead of using SEUS.
i installed R1EA031 with SEUS yesterday and didnt get full satisfield, so today i went down to my

shop and DPY flashed.
the phone works faster, cleaner & better now....( i allways get best result with DPY flashing, it place your firmware on a 100% clean memory...which means less buggs, etc).

No i doesn't. I have already done that kind of flash. It helped me to get rid of the "operation failed" issue but i guess that issue was just due to a bad flash operation.

I don't know what you mean by- the restarts/reboots are not firmware related when you point to that post. It doesn't mentione the REboots, just mention the NONbooting phones.

Well it's (the random reboot -bug)still a bug even though i may be situated in the file system rather then the firmware. They should be able to fix this too! And i'm not excactly sure that the post you are pointing to, actually excplains why the phone randomly reboots. It could, in my humble opinion, just as well be trying to explain why a java application won't start up at all. I say this because i don't see anything really reffering to the random reboot issue in the comming post. Or am i reading it wrong?
And for me, flashing via SEUS to the -37 didn't solve the "operation failed bug" Quite the opposite: In fact, i got that bug when flashing to -37 from the -29.

@plankgatan
One major bug that many(not all, but many) of us have is the random reboot issue. AND it didn't unfortunatley go away after a proper flash that i did (NOT via SEUS)
@oracle86
I, for one, can't full heartedly recommend the new -31 just yet. I do really like the touch vibration-response option that has come with the firmware, and i love the sound of the new media player (but i think you have to play mp3:s that ar ripped in a good quality, preferably at 192 kbps, to get the most of it) I can't say that i think that the new firmware has made the camera any better but i haven't tested it that much yet You can check out my latest shots with the new firmware at the "post your pics taken with K850" thread(not sure of the excact name of the thread just now) But i really don't think that the new firmware has made the camera worse. Not in my case anyway.
AND i have too see how many often my phone randomly reboots before i can say that i am fairly satisfied with the new firmware. I had two reboots that i noticed so far and i have had the new firmware in about 5 days.
Tip: If you can't wait to get the firmware on SEUS and can spare 10 euro's you can check out Da Vinci team's page(and others) if they might have your version of the new firmware yet. You also get a more thorough flash at Da Vinci.

someone else please comment abt battery life on the new firmy...
I was on 038 firmware before, and because of my very low usage (few calls, usually just on standby), would last about 5 days.
After flashing to 031, battery life seems to be worse... After upgrading, and doing a full charge, lasted about 3 days. Last night i did another full charge to 100%, disconnected the charger at 6am this morning, and checking the phone now at 11pm, it says 71%, even though i haven't used it at all today and its just been on standby ...

I call them "restarts" and not reboots in my FW mini-review, i explain them in number 4 and then list them as a CONs for the new FW
i double checked the link, but anyways. i completely agree that phone should be more stable. BTW i have not had any single "restart" since i RE-Updated my phone with SEUS. i will keep postin if i find anything.
