@dogmann,
Glad you like your phone so much and it works as it should. It's one of the best looking Nokia designs for ages IMO despite it's size, the Nokia range aren't exactly style icons these day's and the N73 is a plastic brick.
I still prefer the P990I because it's smaller when in use due to not being a full flip design and I prefer the touch screen PDA. Out of interest does the N93 have the call volume keys on the side?
Next year we'll have VGA screens I'm sure so then the PSP may well be truely matched.

Hi Apolla,
The N73 does but the N93 does not, volume control either during a call or using multimedia is via the D pad.
I must admit the biggest thing i was worried about in moving away from UIQ was losing the touchscreen as i always used the onscreen keyboard as my preferred text entry method. It has only been a couple of months since i moved to a Nokia N70 then N73 and finally N93(not planning on any more changes anytime soon) and to my surprise have actually found i don't miss it as much as i thought i would. I have found as i only open the N93 in Landscape/Laptop mode i am can even type effectively with the keyboard in this strange orientation not even sure how or why but i can.

Ah, thats what bugged me like mad on my 7610, the Dpad being used for volume, I hated it, why Nokia can't stick the key's on the side I'll never know.

Sadly both phones will be absolutely butchered by both companies

, possibly taking alot of the functionality that comes with the p990i.
Prime example is Vodafone and their absolutel butchery of the SE M600i, they took the task manager away!!!...unbelievable really and i feel for the people who have one because unlike the other SE phones...you cannot de-brand the M600i and i would expect the same to be with the P990i.
But anyways good to hear that the phone will be out soon on uk networks.
