I have allready done a total flash at Da Vinci.
This is what they say about their flash: "comparing to SEUS we flash the phone completely (so it becomes like new fromthe box), SEUS just updates current firmware - both ways have some pro/contras"

As i enterpreted it i downloaded over 70 Mb and then the flash started. So i would say that this is the same thing as a DPY-flash. Not just a SEUS flash that just add code to the old firmware.

(Some ranting about a local service shop.)

One week after upgrading the firmware, my phone failed to on today. I brought it the service centre. It was a same problem even before I upgraded the firmware. So I requested for a change of motherboard. Will see they fix it for me.

I'm getting disappointed with K850 But there is no better camera phone in SE series than K850 now.

Does anyone else have a problem where seus goes through all the motions, downloads the new firmware, and then when it starts to update, fails at 0% and says to disconnect the phone and try again?

Anyone got any ideas what im doing wrong? Its an unbranded K850i from the UK, the last update i did was through the phone itself but this one isnt available yet

I've just had a reboot when making a picture while listening to music. (though i also had this on 037)
Also, the bug where any media won't work anymore after making a pic has occured again..

I take a shot while listening to music and all files will give me "failed", and the radio won't work either. (no sound at all, reboot required)

If you by saying "tha java memory problem", mean that you get "operation failed", i can recommend you to DPY-flash you phone at a SE-service centre or flash it at Da Vinci team. It will cost you 10 euro. And my guess is if you mena that you have the issue with not enough memory to run java apps, a DPY-flash or a flash at Da Vinci would fiw this too.
Actually i would try to do the above mentioned "proper" flashing to get rid of the flash-problem too. Of course i can't promise that it wil help, but if you just cut back on a couple of beers this weekend you will have the spare change and you can give it a try and flash it on Da Vinci.

After updating to 031 (PLAY PL branded, central-europe, full-flash via DaVinci, coz I had wrong CDA to update by SEUS) I have neither random reboots nor freezes. Everything is working fine... but...
Phone isn't faster. Media Player initiates quite faster, but exploring multimedia menu is still as sluggish as it was (I have about 1.5 gb of music on 2 gb SD card).
Phone plays louder and sound is more clear using external speaker, but on basic headphones sound is still too silent (can't see the difference between 037 and 031). I listen to electronic music (minimal house and drum'n'bass) where quality is essential thing and I'm far from being satisfied. More advanced headphones or modded drivers (which will arrive soon I wish) will surely do better...
Background bug is, unfortunately, present.
So - media player is still too crappy for me and I don't find using it comfortable.

I have another problem - after some time when you don't click any buttons, the display light goes off and display comes black (and keypad is beign locked). It's natural of course. The issue is that when my phone goes into such a sleep mode - when I try to turn it on (unlock the keypad or just press anything when the keypad locking is turned off) my touch buttons doesn't seem to work. It's a random thing and happens at least three-four times a day. First, I though that the only way to solve this is to take out the battery when the keypad is locked (so i stopped to lock the keyboard, so after it happens, I could just turn it off and on). Then I realized that I have to click anything (screen light turns on then), wait a few seconds for next sleep mode - and then there's a chance that touch buttons will get back to work. So - in general - sleep mode randomly makes my touch keys unusable. I had this issue on 037, I hoped that it was a firmware issue (some thrash etc.) but I did a full flash to 031 and it still happens. I'm not sure that it's hardware issue - because after all, when not entering sleep mode, my touchkeys are working perfectly. Anyone has the same stuff? Is there a chance that EMMA flash or setool or something will help?
