Unfortunately, coming from such a diverse culture, people get confused with choice. For some people it's an easy choice, DA or ANC. Others don't know, or only know of one of the smaller parties. Which results in votes being spread out and wasted.

People as a group aren't very clever. Thats why, in places like america, you only really get two choices... Republican or Democrat. It's easier with 50/50.

Anymore than that and we need to phone a friend or ask the audience.

Interesting comment I heard on some radio station today.

They were commenting about these small parties that you hardly hear anything about them through out the years. They only get noticed when the campaign for elections.

Interesting hey...

Good old politricks.
Amazing how political parties, and in many cases the minor ones, have to come out with all guns blazing and have bold plans to transform the country,or even promise the moon on a stick, to get noticed.

I'm not saying many of the ideas are not good or even excellent ones, but many of these political parties, to use a quote from the famous Austrian politician Metternich from the 19th century, are but a "loud-sounding nothing."

Oh well, I suppose we all have to start somewhere...

I've been out and about the whole morning but have to concur with most folks here on Esato...these new phones look mighty impressive, even the base models.

Hopefully we should get them here realistically around July/August. I definitely want a K800, was going to go for the W900i(which is now available locally) but will wait my turn.

In didn't see any prices mentioned...should probably be around the R4500 mark when it gets released eMzansi.

PS: Anyone seen Tsotsi?

Eish, ku'nzima. W900i is a nice phone, especially due to the fact that it captures video at 30fps...the downside though is that it's MASSIVE.

PS: Saw a second-hand Z800i for R1600. Minor scratches and the usual wear-and-tear. Good deal?

Has that been confirmed anywhere? I guess it wouldn't make sense to lower the video capturing specs of the K800.
