I think my touch keys have never ever worked i sleep mode. So i didn't know that was a bug. I have alway pressed some else button to get my phone to wake up.

Does the phone vibrate but nothing happenes or no vibration either? My touch keys are not responsive either sometimes, but I've had that since I got the phone. Also, 031 seemed to have lessened the sensitivity of the touch keys as well.

Can anyone please tell me why am I STILL unable to update my phone?

I have an unbranded phone, generic central europe 37 software, I live in Poland,

and SEUS still unvariably displays the "Update unavailable - the software in your phone is already up-to-date"!?

For a week now since the release? Is this normal? Is there any single person here that still can't update their phone except for me?

Hm sounds fishy! Have you tried to call SE customer care and ask them?
If you have 10 euro to spare you ca ncheck the Da Vinci team.com if they have your version of the firmware and flash it there.

i've just updated my phone to R1EA031..so far i've not encountered any problem yet...but my phone seems to respond faster now as i updated from thr first firmware...only prob i had is slow start up which i'm used to

Maybe You have wrong CDA string and SEUS is unable to continue the update because of this.I have the same problem and reflash my phone makes him upgradeable

Well, I still have apparently the wrong CDA even after flashing at DaVinci, can't update at SEUS. Can you please post what is your CDA and FS version?

I've tried to get my K850i updated, but SEUS won't do anything.

It's Three (UK) branded, and on R1CA029. I see from the first post that I should be able to get R1DA039, but the update service won't update it. I know it's not a problem with the computer as it's updated my W810i successfully.

I'm keen to get the phone updated. I bought it 10 days ago, and have already had the filesystem/operation failed problem on the first phone and had that replaced. It appears that Three won't acknowledge any problems and won't replace the phone again after tomorrow.

I don't want to use the 3rd party flash tools - if I brick the phone I've got an 18 month contract to see out.

Can anyone think of any options open to me, other than reject the phone and contract and try a different phone+provider? As much as I like it, it's not much use to me if it is prone to corrupting itself so that any apps + video calling don't work, the camera doesn't work properly, etc.

Contacting 3 gets the same line - we don't really want to deal with you, please go away. There doesn't seem to be a way to get past the script-reading drones to get a request for an updated firmware.

Contacting Sony just gets standard canned responses that don't answer the questions.

I really feel stuck with a lemon at the moment, which is disappointing. I loved my W810i, and wanted to like the K850. Can anyone suggest anything?
