Still awaiting P990i availability in KSA.
I wonder if P990i has the feature where you can pause your favourite music or radio whenver you desire through the pre-packed headset. I kinda miss a lot this feature with K750i as well as in N70 headsets. This is normally avaialble with siemens mobile phone headsets - convenience to pause the music whenever wihtout pulling the whole unit for the said operation. As i hate to pull the earplugs/earphone when somebody is talking to you during your usual music playback. Can someone advise pls.

Isn't that the polite thing to do?

Thank you

But there is any option to turn 3G off and just use 2G? Here we have 3G coverage but i donīt use. With 3G and wifi off, the battery life will be the same as p910 right?
Goto:
Controlpanel / Connections / "Mobilenet" (dunno exactly what is called, runs my in Swedish)
Then klick on the "drop down menu" at the top, select "GSM/3G"
There you can select what types of network you wanna use.

With the pre-packed headset, you cant but with the se stereo bluetooth headset....you can.
If you dont want a stereo bluetooth headset, just buy the headset for the walkman phones and when someone talks to you.....pull out the 3.5mm jack.

I have a question for P990 owners;
Is it possible to display the cd-covers in the mediaplayer while listening to the songs? As in the SE W950i?
Yes, the phone displays the album art (cd covers).

Or you just buy a audio-plug for about 6 euros..
Check tradera (sweden) or maby ebay.
I bought one of these... works nice to plug in to my carstereo.

try this for SUPER FAST MENU RESPONSE:
1. Reboot your phone
2. Flip down to full screen mode
3. tap on the "up arrow" tab on bottom left hand corner of LCD screen. Then tap on any of its menus. Take note of the "speed" of opening these menus.
4. Tap on the large "Main Menu" icon (2nd icon on the bottom left of LCD screen). Take note of the animated transition effects. Also take note of the "speed" of this effect.
5. Now, go to Media Player and start the Video player. Playback a video file, perhaps the demo if you have not encoded any videos.
6. Now go back to the main screen and test out step 2 - 4 again...
you can skip 3 and 4.
