somehow i don't expect that any additional SE announcement would include more than 4 handsets. otherwise competing companies would eventually come up with similar devices (even better) and ruin SE potential profit

That idea sounds plausible. I know of one network in the UK that has declined taking up the K810i and instead will be lowering the price of its K800i .
If this becomes a pattern with other operators then hopefully
will thrust the K850i upon us.
I think xumdeo was telling us he will have more shots of the W52s in a week or so.
