Cheers mate I know it's not the best of shots but I think the Z1 held up very well considering it was a one handed shot while i was holding my dog with other hand I still think that the camera on the Z1 is still one the best at the moment

So LG flex is going to receive 4k and 120fps wbhen it will be updated to KitKat. At this moment Sony can't claim that the z1 isn't powerful enough since the devices run the same specs.

they can claim anything they want if they really don't want to put it on the Z1, say that it doesn' t meet the QA standard or whatever. But I think we all know that they are just trying to sell some z2 if that was the case. They clearly did say that the z2 was the first xperia phone that support 4k recording, unless kitkat come out after z2 release it won't be with kitkat. Might be up on the camera app section later after z2 release though.

Can the 4K app simply not be ported over from the Z2 like how we got the background de-focus app from the Z1s. We all know the CPU will support it its just a case of weather it is hardware locked of software depended for it to work. Does anyone know which it is ?

I feel we might have to wait for 4.4 update for Z1... unless developers can mod these apps also for 4.3
