hey, thats a nice discovery... will try it... i have 2 phones, one with mobile office and other with airtel live... though i use mobile office for wap and internet all the time... will give this a shot... if it works... then goodbye mobile office... thanks to all those who helped in this contribution... for ringtones, goto google.com search for 'latest hindi tones' in wap you will get the best free sites... does anyone know a fullproof way of getting through airtel live on mobile to access all sites... tried the methods here.... tried n tried... adios for now , i will be back ;) This message was posted from a Nokia

using this method one ....i can access all wap sites and some net site on my w800i ..
but thts using the default browser...

the moment i eeit it and try and open opera from applications folder on my cell and try and surf it gives me a connection error on opera...

can someone tell me how can i use opera to surf in stead of default browser using these methods

I WANT A METHOD WHICH WILL ENABLE ME TO ACCESS COMPLETE INTERNET
ON MY MOBILE ITSELF WITHOUT PAYING ANYTHING.

I have already got Airtel Live activated om my phone which allows
me to access only the following 2 websites:

http://www.yahoo.com/(In fact, only some of its features)
I am really bored seeing these websites only
Another thing, I did not try Spartan's method because I do not
have a cable, IR or bluetooth in my mobile.
(I am even not sure of presence of GPRS modem in my phone)

Check out http://www.wap-gateway.com/ which I found a few days back
The above mentioned site offers u free gateway which I was unable to
use because of my little knowledge of this whole matter.

Dear ajay123,

The Free Wap Gateway trick will not work with Airtel bcoz Airtel doesn't permit to use outside gateways with their access points.

especially 4 those in maharashtra tryin 4 free gprs
100.1.200.99 wont easily work but u can get it goin by initialisin both net on modem and wap at the same instant else it denies access.
nyways im still unable 2 use your freedom .im posting the screenshots some1 help me
spartan bro wat is the entry for account details in your freedom so this doesnt occur
