I have the same problem, audio crakling noise, with M600i...

When I use any audio there is a constant background digital type static crackle. This is apparent when music passages are quiet. It can be heard when the mediaplyer is playing mp3s especially with the sound turned down to 0 and the application still running, or pausing an mp3.

One question, the drivers in this topic will work on a M600i?

There's an easier way to avoid the w810i hissing problem. It only occurs when using the phone at low volumes. Keep the phone volume on high, but buy a pair of headphones with their own volume control. Then use that control to lower the volume to the desired level.

this mod wouldnt work with the M600 or the rest of the smartphones because they have a different file structure. I tried using the W550/w600 acoustics for the W810, it just mucks up the sound, the music didnt work, only the earpiece for incoming calls worked, and although it was quite loud, it had the crackling sound of death, so i wouldnt recommend it. Try using some custom made acoutics from se-nse forums to eliminate the hiss, there are some acoustic driver reviews on se-nse aswell, they can come in handy if you are trying to look for the right one to use. also the W900 acoustic are much different from the W810, or other fones, so they wont work with each other, you just wont get any sound if you use their acoustics for each other. anyway, for custom acoutics i would recommend using rufinus' v3 from se-nse (search it up) it is the best for megabass preset and overall quality, IMO.

Hi can anyone post again a valid link to aksd's acoustic driver (the one lowering the hissing, i'm not interested in pumping up the volume like mongoose's driver, my K750 earphone is loud enough), as the rapidshare links are all outdated ?

Or you can PM me and i'll give you my email address.

Thanks a million, anyone !!

Cheers
