I take photos of kids but with this driver it make the pictures blur becasue the shutter was too slow especially at night.
I tried with just the night mode on, I tried with ZOOM on both 1.3 and 1.4.
the enhanced nightmode is only good for non-moving subjects.
in your case, choose the default (normal) nightmode. use 1.3 and then activate the nightmode.

Does changing the scene to 1.3 and turning the night mode on work? Coz i've tried that and it just override the settings... Pics have many noise unlike just turning on the enhanced night mode and turning the EV setting to -0.7 or -1.0 for faster shutter speeds and still get ISO 100 but not as clean as EV 0.0.
Btw, Chengrong has managed to change the ISO and EV separately... Can he now make this for the new 8.52 based driver? That was the only part lacking from that version...

Yes, it does work (for my w810).
When you select 1.3 and then turn on nightmode, it reverts back to the original/default nightmode w/c will in fact result in noises in the picture.

You can't compare normal nightmode with NightScene, because they are made for different situations. NightScene is only for shooting
night scenes, not indoor pictures.
Here are some examples (sorry for reduced size - pictures look flawless on 1600)
Enchanced NightMode is not a scene, it is turned on when you enable Nightmode (press 7). In some of my test pics, NightScene 1.4 +0.3EV gives the same ISO and shutter speed as NightScene + EnhancedNight -0.3EV. So it doesn't really matter if it's ON or OFF, because you can adjust these settings manually.
Anyway, I love the settings of 1.4 and I use it not only at night, because of ISO100 it gives perfect pictures.

so, what's a good setting for taking indoor pictures then? select 1.3 and then turn nightmode ON (default nightshot)?
