For low light, what's your camdriver setting? is it just turn on night mode or set the EV too? please advice
Because I always get noise picture for low light indoor or outdoor...for daylight, I have no question...it's better than Zuza

In low light I just use night mode...it gets the sharpnness and almost doesnt get any noise..I jus adjust EV when light is too low...and to tell you the truth...I take many shots with some positive adjustments of EV and night mode on ( to get better focus and brightful pics in scenes which go from average to low light conditions) and the noise remains low.

here more samples...

-1.0 e.v.

-0.3 e.v.

0.0 e.v.

@BLKSNAKER;

Just curious...what's your cellphone? is it W800i? or K750i with W800i firmware?
If the answer is "Yes"...then your driver is like ZUZA...good in W800i, but not good in K750i

Yeah, previously I was using the stock R1BC002 driver.
I changed to 9.0 and now the pics have small little boxes in them. Happens in low light conditions @ daytime.
Pics also not as sharp.
I used cloudy and daylight WB.

Night shots have improoved somewhat though. Sharper and less noise + more brighter, and by that I mean objects that may have previously been in the dark can now be seen.

I'm using a k750i converted to w800 though.

IMHO, this is not suitable for k750 users unless they want better night shots.

@BLKSNAKER
I decided to give a chance to yours 9.0 camdrv. My phone is W800 (R1BD001) and comparison was done with zuza2007.

Overal picture quality is the same, I really can't see any difference in sharpness or grain amount (in day light and night).

9.0 had tendences to bluish in rooms but not on outdoors pictures. Zuza for example is white in room but a little yelowish on outdoors.

Macro mode - I really can't see any difference maybe that 9.0 is a little faster.

Night mode - 9.0 generate brighter pictures.

File size - almost the same.

I will not decide which driver is better, it's just decision of every single person.

Does someone compared zuza2007 or 9.0 to 7.7edited (by imsje)?

I used 0.9 to take some pictures this weekend. Overall I'm happy with what I've got.

I would like an extra option though... 8.53 had in 1.8 mode the option to increase/decrease the exposure time. Do you think you could add that?

Camdriver 9.0 has errors while taking pictures with my K750w ( W800 firmware ). When after taking a pic and change a setting like turning on Nightmode, the viewfinder turns black... no display... you have to shutdown the camera and turn it on again... Well, i'm back to ZUZA 2007 again... after 8.53, tunned and 9.0... I don't have errors using ZUZA 2007... 8.53 was good but taking pics with the enhanced night mode was very difficult... Blurry ( shaky hands ) although i got bright, almost noiseless pics... i had to sacrifice the time to take one shot after the another... The only problem with ZUZA to me is that it has more noise... but i still have the sharpness and colors.. So i just have to buy a MXE-60 flash accessory... After all, all cameras, i mean the 'real' cameras have a flash to take better pics... just my opinion...
