I miss having the play/pause button. I use my phone's music player through a tape adapter in the car so I can listen to music and take calls through the speakers, not having the play/pause button means I have to take an extra couple of seconds to get the music going. I haven't found a reasonable shortcut yet but, I'm sure when I get use to it it'll be fine.

I'm taking my K850i back to a Vodafone this morning for a replacement. Thanks you to you guys on here who've expressed concern and suggested solutions to the problems I've had. The biggest and only remaining problem I have concern for is the Media Browser keeps crashing when trying to access photos, otherwise this is a great phone. The pics it takes are great, the design is awesome. Do not underestimate how much better this phone feels and looks in reality compared to in the photos. The screen is huge and has the perception od being a higher resolution than the K800i (I'd compare it to the K810i but I've by-passed that and haven't played with one).

Got mine this morning from DHL depot.

Good impressions so far, shame they've removed the standby clock/status, but ah well. Touch screen is nice, got used to it all ready. Media menu is a nice addtion and the screen is lovely. A worthy upgrade to my 800.

I used to try and keep my 800 clean but this phone is going to be a nightmare, such a fingerprint magnet - i've given up trying to keep it nice and clean already.

"the fact that you can't access the phone status through the volume keys is quite upsetting, maybe they'll include it in the next firmware upgrades"

on my handset one press of the side volume key shows the phone status, god willing.

those with the green k850i, is the laser flash theme green? Or is it the same as the one shown in peoples blue blue versions here (blue)

not a biggie if it isnt green, though would have blended in better with the green colour scheme of the phone... could have made it like the t650's which have colour matched themes.

any body?

also, havnt seen many green k850's on here, those who own one post a few pics of it here please? ta

Picked mine up this morning from the dhl depot and all seems well, just getting my number transferred onto the new 3G sim - does anyone have any ideas how long this might take?

As above, one press of the volume key shows the clock in stand-by on my model, no calls yet to know if it shows anymore info though.

First impressions: very nice, although I can't think of a strong enough word to describe it's ability to attract finger prints!

If you already have a contract and you are transfering you number from your old sim to your new one. It should take no longer than 2 hours from when you made the call to customer care.

However they do tell you it can take upto 24 hours.

If you are transfering your number from another network then once you have given the pac code to the new network you will be given a transfer date.

The whole process currenlty takes 5 days.

Hope the above helps

I have a stand by clock on mine when pressing the volume buttons. Shame the status isnt there anymore. Seems odd as that was the only place that Special Numbers->My Numbers was displayed before so dont know what is going on with that.

One little issue I have with the phone is the menu lag, seems to lag significantly in comparison to the K800i. I guess a firmware release can fix that though. Hopefully.
