yeah, you're right peter. V2 (HPM-70) sounds better for me, but I wanted to give v3 a try. Unfortunately my phone is a k790i and there's no R8 firmware available for it yet. V3 with an R6 firmware yield different results from what you intended, so I'm sticking to v2 (HMP-70).
a webpage with the different acoustic settings and a short definition for each one of them is definitely a good idea.
v3 for R1 users: great!

I tried your V2 HPM-70 and Ultrabass, and I'm just loving the Ultrabass. It's quite loud, and the bass doesn't distort or muffle the high range much. And you can really feel the thump! ^_^
Although, I find that Xaero Ma/Sunfire7's farfield_play (aren't they the same, because they have the same CRC?) is somewhat more suited for me, because that seems to produce some louder mid-range, while yours seem a bit treble-heavy to me. However, your sound doesn't distort as much at very high volume, so that's good.
The call quality on your acoustic is excellent, especially the clarity! I'm so glad I found your acoustics! \o/ Keep up the good work!

Só que há um ano troquei de cel, por um K790i, e descobri agora que já é possível mexer no Far com ele.
Andei por aqui pelo forum e descobri seu tópico, e fiquei com água na boca pra testar suas versões betas, especialmente a v3 que o pessoal tá idolatrando =]
Há a possibilidade de me incluir nos beta testers ?
Me mandar a senha do 4shared por pm, sei lá...

Model: K790i
Firmware: R1JC002 (latest from SEUS) (ainda não tive tempo de atualizar via Wotan, nem sei se vale a pena, aliás).
E eu prefiro algo mais balanceado.
Tou testando usando a música Foo Fighters - The Pretender, que tem uma batida forte e é uma prova de fogo.
Não passou o pack mix_w880_asash. Ficou muito grave e pouca qualidade.
Eu ia testar o zapf_v2_sunfire7, e depois o W880 defalt.
Mas agora que posso testar os seus, é o que vou fazer =]

I'm not going to outright claim that they're better than R8 since haven't used the R8 versions on a R8 firmware, but yes, the R1KG001 acoustics do seem to sound different, and yes, it does seem better. The sounds seem more balanced with lesser distortions at high-vol.
But the R8 acoustics on R1 doesn't sound half-bad either. Your v2 HPM-70 seems to have nice bass and clear treble, while the beta v8 seems to have a bit more bass and slightly less treble, but perhaps a little lower on volume.
On a R1 firmware I'd probably like to use the V2 HPM-70, if I weren't a bass fanatic. But now I'm interested to see how your R8 beta v8 settings will work out in R1 V3. :crosses fingers:

Sorry, but the betas are closed now. You can try out the current R8 V1 and R1 V2, but for R8 V2, you will have to wait till the final version is released.

Yeah First thing what I done was updating my firmware via SEUS.Microphone is STILL quiet,very quiet.people stlill can hardly hear me..I'm looking forward to your answer,about how we can solve this problem
