I am disappointed that the K660 doesn't include a flash. In my opinion, if you are going to call it a cybershot at least give it the rudimentary functions of a camera. When was the last time, you saw a camera without a flash?

I know somebody will say that its for the low or mid market, etc. But the point here is that if SE produces phones that it labels Cybershot and they produce poor photos (which will happen in low light without a flash), than SE will manage to dent the Cybershot brand. So come on SE at least throw in an LED or two....

My criticisms aside, I do think these phones are excellently designed, with great feature sets and I am overjoyed that SE is finally showing us North Americans some love.... Providing they are priced decently, they will sell well....

As far as I know K660 dont has Cybershot label!!

As far as I understood, the K was the cybershot line.....

The K-series existed, as far as I know, before the Cyber-shot series (starting with the K800) existed. The K660i is non-Cyber-shot.

All Cyber-shots are K-series but but all K-series are Cyber-shots.

Nope... Sony Ericsson has made many K series phones with excellent cameras, the introducin K800i for cybershot phones. HOWEVER, K series are for bar phones in general. Cybershot phones are bar phones (as of right now), therefore, belong to the K series. The only exception where bar phones aren't placed in the K series are Walkman devices, Business devices, "showcase/highlighted phones" under the Tseries, etc.

Let's look at the K530: not a Cybershot phone.

If you look at the K660 website, it's also not a cybershot phone.

Hmm... here's what I've got:
Kim = J110
Melody = J120
Gisela = K200/220
Sania = T650/658
Anabel = Z250/258
Nathalie = Z750

All have been announced, but if Daniela isn't the Z750, then it may still be the slider Cyber-shot phone.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. However, I am still a tad suspicious that SE is trying to get the halo going around its K series as a camera line. If a somewhat more knowledgeable person like me made this mistake....its very likely a consumer will think K is the camera line....
