Not had an iphone yet so cannot compare, but for UI looks the P5i i feel is better!

There hasn't been anything overtly new, no, because PK is not legally allowed to give us anything new. He has hinted, however. I've followed this (and the previous) thread from the beginning and have been able to piece together many "new" bits of information I did not previously know (or was unsure about).

well...the reall important thing is knowing P5 and w980 will be able to use UIQ3 apps...that will alow:
1 - people with uiq3 phones that upgrade to "uiq4" will still be able to use their old apps
2 - developers will be able to make apps to a bigger number of devices/users: M600, W950, M600, P990, P1, "P5", "W980" and the other one that is supposed to be presented, "P700" , plus the Moto Z8, Z10 and the newer ones with UIQ
I will keep my P1 untill the P5 is at a decent price

Correct, the name is not a major issue.
Knowing
they can change the name even a minute before the announcement and that would not surprise me at all in this case! Knowing that production units are still months away they can do this with no hesitation.
Just been asked via PM to do a Mini review and get paid lots of money to do it (from an external source)
Only if i was allowed to do so
