Hmm seems

still cant build decent cameras for their phones, I don't even bother using my P1 as a camera now due to the nasty green cast on the right of the picture.
When I had an N95 the two things it could do reasonable well was take an OK picture but GREAT movies for a phone the camera was fairly good.
I like the look of the G900 as I am a fan on joy sticks and multi directional pads I loved my P990 with the flip up saved loads of time but why a G series? what is the point!
I would really like a Walkman variant of the G900 the music player in my W960 is REALLY GOOD that player in the G900 body would suit me really well plus

should put 16Gb M2 in the box to make up for the poop camera!!

SE needs to do some catch up

Design looks very plain...i guess all SE designers were working on X1.
IS SE no longer interested in having a UIQ smartphone as their flagship device???
Whats the future of P series??
P series is still alive, guys in Bacelona will confirm this.
And what good news can we expect on the P series?

Viewty is ok but is only just below K850 in terms of placing. The N95 8gb/n95/n82 are widely regarded as the best on the market and the U900 soul apparantly produces better pics than that.

The camera tends to be the last part of a handset that is 'tweaked' so its not suprising it gives a lacklustre performance as a pre release handset... I'm sure a review/preview mentioned that the camera was yet to be polished, maybe GSM Arena?
Bare in mind that the units floating about have been around for at least 3 months (just been informed by out IT Manager that his Mrs has been using the G900 for at least 3 months now, she is PA to one of the top boys in SE London/Hammersmith) and are most likely running the originally firmware rather than a later incarnation of it.
Proof is in the pudding so it will be interesting to see how it performs on release. UIQ3 is no longer in its infancy which should result in a mature version of firmware on release rather than the 'beta' versions released with the original UIQ3 line up!
If SE dont/cant do that then theres no hope! But I am optimistic and positive as we've had every indication that they should finally hit the mark with this one!

nitro, i use the camera on the P1 lots of times (and upload photos to flicker via shozu), its not the best, but its very decent...and AFAIK, the green tint thing its not noticeable on the last fw, at least on mine

Something is very wrong with those pics, either the person doesnt know how to take proper pics or that is a defective n82. As for the g900, its a proto is it not? Protos usually have their cameras tweaked before release.

If it's really taken with g900, why the pics are only 3MP, I thought g900 has 5 MP
