Raiderski
I hope video recording resolution can be improved one day, IMHO QVGA video is really awful with anything other than macro focus. I think you said using VGA and WQVGA distorts camera menu and lowers the frame rate so it can create worse quality videos, but with a stable surface and slow panning it could work wonders.
There is another issue you mentioned: it's impossible to have live switch from QVGA to VGA and this is only possible to put on phone as QVGA or VGA. But I have an idea... we could install MobyExplorer + "Full access java to FS" patch and then its easy to change resolution of video by inserting new camdriver0.dat into ifs/settings/camera then changing back when we want the original again
Also, how is this possible? ISO 3200 is way beyond the limit of gain in your driver (ISO 1000)

I guess "C901 Elm" vs C901 pictures you have posted shows the need for "edge sharpness" option where we can have normal or abstract option.
I hope someday there will be come someone who could do miracle by make a patch as like as amir's patch in K800i. K800i former user surely know what I mean here.
I want this patch too, but until then I just switch to video mode and press 0 to remind me of shutter speed values and positions of functions

Has the phone been officially discontinued? It sounds like it to me, bad news for non-C901 users and good news for C901 users; now we can call it the Exclusive 5 Mega-pixel Limited Edition C901 Cyber-shot
At least you can still buy it brand new from ebay, with prices starting at
99 pence up to around

Hi!
This evening I have been reading Raiderski's code, nice work

 !!
But I'm very pissed off about the C901 video recording, so I will try some tests and will report results (btw Raider check your inbox!)
I looked around for the Elm original driver and couldn't find it. Can you guys post me a working link? Any 4shared account with several original camdrivers to see will be cool
I have the idea of mapping the modes we had in Withan with the zoom values (losing no features).
Cheers!

Video is recording is terrible, why did they give Elm VGA and C901 only QVGA??
Here is the Elm camera driver courtesy of brazzuka's team

Use farmanager with JDflasher plug-in. (I think) If not there are quite a few people on se-nse with one whom you could PM, good luck!
