Well the 920 night shots are good better than many other camera phones except the 808. I still think even most point and shoots are better than most phone cameras. Many phone cameras as far as I can see except a tiny few seem to be getting worse in quality

Well yes they are.. they are keeping the sensor sizes the same, but they keep bumping up the megapixel count just because the general public was "brainwashed" into thinking that more mpix = better image quality. Years, and years of marketing... it will be very hard to reverse the "megapixel war" trend.

Good thing they have BSI.. otherwise I don't know what they would have done.. FSI doesn't really allow for smaller than 1.4 micron pixels.. ya you can do it but it gets messy. Thanks to BSI they can even dip below 1.1 microns...

So watch the industry in the next 12 months.. we will se 12-14-16 Mpix cameras but the quality will deteriorate, or remain the same if we are lucky. That is if they keep the 1/3" "off the shelf" they've been using for a while now.. If they don't bump up the sensor size, or make a technological break in BSI tech ... there won't be any significant gains.

The iPhone 5 is the best using the 1/3" BSI - 1.4 micron/pixel formula.. at least during the day, as soon as the sun goes down everything is reviled.

Must say the battery has really improved over the last week, typically i have 80% left after 11h of usage. As you might imagine I don't use it to watch a lot of movies but i listen to music frequently. Mostly texts instead of calls as well.
But i am pleased with the performance.
One thing that bugs me is a squeaking sound that comes when i press the left side of the phone. I'm also skeptical to the strength of Gorilla glass, already got scratches. My old X10 never got any scratches

Certainly looks better doesnt it ? of all the 920 pictures i thought they all looked a bit wooly, blurred and lacking detail.

Still not 808 or N8 quality though which is clear.
