Everyone (including me) knows that STB ratio also includes side bazels. LOL.
I still think the concept's top and bottom bazels are too big to be a 80% STB ratio.

I don't find the concept appealing. It looks really old.
I also didn't like the curve design smartphone until I saw S8/S8+ in person. I find S8/S8+ phones really beautiful, although I have to say S8+ is a little bit taller to my liking.
Recently I started using samsung browser and I really liking it. It's really fast. Much faster and smoother than chrome/opera/firefox.
If Sony failed to deliver a staler camera in their next flagship I may pick up a galaxy S8 if I find a good discount.
All I want for next xperia flagship to have these things -
1. Gorgeous design with little bazels ( I'm sure this time Sony will deliver it )
2. Awesome camera ( Atleast on par with U11/S8 series phone, Not so sure about camera).
They can keep the rest of the stuff unchanged. I really like the fact that Sony keeping their FFSS despite so many companies ditching it. I hope they continue the trend and produce even louder sound in the next flagship.

Agreed. I own a S8. Pretty hand for one hand use.
Was a proud owner of Z1 and Z3. Z3 had blazing fast smooth UI even after 2 years of usage. Sadly, none of the current Sony devices appealed me to stay with Sony after Z3.
Hope sony produces a killer device next year - will immediately ditch samsung if sony does it.

It's amazing how samsung turn things around after releasing super ugly S5 (minus note 7). Now they are producing some of the most beautiful phones on the planet. Even their software don't look ugly anymore. I still prefer stock android look and feel but samsung's current UI doesn't offend me as much as it used to. Slowdown is still a problem for samsung phones but they got the basic stuff - design, display, battery, camera, update - done wonderfully.
It's not the their phones that disturb me anymore it's their fanboys. I find most
Samsung fanboys totally
disgusting, especially the
online sammy fanboys. We have blind fanboys in each companies but really samsung fanboys are on another level. People just have to see gsmarena and phonearena's comment section to see how bad they are. Even blind Apple fanboys are pleasant compared to them. We have one here on easto.
Sony has improve a lot in the software side after they introduce the X series. Their update got really fast and they now regularly provide monthly security update, wonderful stuff. Their software now cleaner and more consistent with stock android. I hope sony continue using lcd for at least for 2018 phones, after the pixel 2 xl drama lcd has again won my heart. I can't stand low quality oled display.
