Got my t28 cable from
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk today.
And guess what?
It was a Ericsson 788 cable Grrrrrrrrr!!!!!!
Now i have to wait another week before i can get rid of the operator lock on my z1010 3 branded.
Send it to mumien.se instead, it is more safe and easier.

i had some spare time yesterday and created a so called 'proper' service and data cable conversion guide. it contains lots of pictures and i tried to make it as simple as possible, hope it helps people to check their cable or do the conversion.

Though i donīt have concrete evidence, some usually reliable people have told me that mumien.se infact use Totalserver as well..
Guess they just know what theyīre doing, thatīs all (no offence to anyone here!)
EDIT:
Thank you ivc for the guide! Just wish you had links to larger pictures, other than that it was very nice!
PS: Donīt miss Z1010 for Ģ150 incl P&P! I have had mine for a week now and i am very happy with it so far!
P.M. me if youīre interested. Go here for more detail:

@bohr2003
yes the phone was o2 branded and i did only flash with r2l firmware file.
now this is even stranger- the phone got stuck with the optimised charging logo for a minite or two then reset itself. now the bloody o2 customisation is back!
but hey it is still on r2l firmware and working properly so i dont care!
BTW anyone had any problems with bluetooth since upgrading? it all works except the bluetooth dial up networking (from pocket pc) which worked a treat before.

@cakepanda
The dial-up is a known issue. There are threads here about it. You have to amend the initialisation string on your pda.... use search and you'll find the answer

@sauvey. Im only a beginner at this, but if your repairing/debranding as in your pic, shouldn't you have selected the K700_Decustomise_Firmware.K7S file?
I thought the K700_R2AA003_ZONE_1.K7S file was used under the Upgrade header.

@eucora
You can unlock a T630 with Terminator. I actually donīt know if you can unlock T-series with Totalserver, check their site!

Sorry for asking a (very) FAQ - I'm going to try and decustomise my K700i (I just received the cable from Faceoffmobiles, and have my usr/pwd ready in my mailbox) and I'm feeling (very) paranoid. In anyone could confirm me what I'm doing is right, I'd feel much better.
I have an O2-branded german K700i. I'd like to decustomise it, and end up with an italian phone. So I thought that following the "Decustomise/remove branding" would be enough, as long as I select a default language file that includes Italian (ie: K700_R2AA003_EU5.K7D)
In brief: one credit *should* be enough to obtain a non-o2, italian-T9ed K700i? Or am I mistaken?
Thanks to anybody patient enough to answer this.
Ed, from Italy
