Isn't the 2k for the phablet? 2k would be ridiculous on a 5", it would also strain the possessor and drain the battery more.

Most likely FHD, 2K is ridiculously overkill for a 5" display. Beyond 440 ppi and the human eye would not be able to distinguish a difference.

Regarding the 2k rumour on the phablet, it make sense if Sony are completely going for the best because it will give roughly the same ppi as a 5" 1080p display.
However, 2k on a phone? Maybe, just maybe next year, or maybe the year after when the processing power for decent frame rates is there, not to mention if having the same backlight as today with the same battery drain, at maximum brightness will only be slightly brighter, say 50% brighter than amoled equivalents (or even 720p amoleds), which would render it pretty much useless outside, maybe even on a fairly cloudy day.
I know you can't make out any pixels anyway on a 5" 1080p display, but you'd be able to see even more without zooming in. Too much? I don't know.

I really hope the back of the 2H isn't like the ZL. Imo the flap makes it ugly and Sony will get bashed in reviews about it and about the plastic it's made of. Something like the Z, tablet Z or even the V would be much better imo.
