@ kutchi ganda ng ampli at speakers mo....sa akin kasi package na yung nabili ko,(amplifier and speakers) kaya kahit ayaw ko sa yamaha speakers wala na ako budget to buy another set of speakers eh...

@arnold: I don't know why Bose doesn't sound too good. I used to be a fan of the old (I think it was the) 802. Pero hindi naman pang bahay yun. But now, parang sobrang commercialized. As car speakers ok lang, but for high fidelity music in a room, I'm not too fond of them. I don't know, I guess it's a matter of taste.
I know the owners of the Electronics Depot. They are the distributors of Mirage and Denon here in the Phils I think. Kaskwela ko kasi sila in High School.

@arnold/kutchi/dexter: I have the Avia DVD that helps set up your system. I also have a sound meter (which you'll need) for audio set up. Let me know if you want to borrow it. Also, expect to throw away an afternoon for the tweaking.

For me bitin ung bass nung AM10, tried listening AM15 too bitin din plus too pricey compare to its little brother AM10 thats why i came up with 750 watts active sub which kung itotodo mo talagang mabaho sya :-D price of the combo is still less than AM15.

ksroy, i used the avia dvd on my system for fun. i just want to know how it sounds. i particularly like the plane and motorcycle tests. the office noise was not audible at all from my friends Denon/Mirage combination. i was shocked, kasi my system is modest (spakers as mentioned, dvd and amps both jvc) but it was clear. i will borrow it once gumaling yung right ear ko (bingi from fungi infection, nabasa ng tubig??? grabe)

@arnold: Masamang bisyo rin ang HIFI equipment. I'm using the Sony TA-E Preamp/Processor, Bryston Power Amp and B&W 603S2/CC6S2. Problema lumabas na yung Series 3 ng B&W, mas maganda yung tunog. Been meaning to upgrade my Preamp/Processor for over a year, pero mahal ng separates talaga. Pati yung speakers na gusto ko, mahal.

@ ksroy basically whats the use of avia dvd mo? is that an instrument?..sori po ha...beginner lang din ako when it comes to gadgets..tsaka what medium is much better to use..fiber connector o coaxial?
