Never been a fan of the ear canal type cos they block out too much sound from outside. I lost concentration many times wearing them type whilst out. Plus they make it so that you hear too much from inside your body. You end up almost becoming deaf. But handy for clearing your ears out

I don`t use them out in the street or in traffic, just when I want to listen to music without disturbing sounds or noise
And my body makes very few sounds
