@AYA: As a precursor to the launch of HSDPA, later this year, Vodacom has allowed it's subscribers with Vodafone-branded phones free acess to GPRS/3G services to test it's network.
I hooked up my P910i by simply changing my APN from "internet" to "vlive" and voila- free internet..been spending most of it listening to streaming radio but will find some other uses for it.

@amby: Virgin-Vodacom deal with Vmobile? That died quietly a long time ago. That's the only info available

@eskay: With all the respect I can muster at this point, your post is among the dumbest I have run into here on Esato till date.
If you truly think that every Nigerian (or that even a majority of Nigerians) send out those dumb mails, yours is a classic case of moronism
Even if you think we are all dumb in here, you can surely afford to be polite about it. As it is however, your IQ cannot be anywhere near the dumbest member of this thread, so there's no point even going there.
You obviously lack the simplest of manners. That also cannot make you much better than the idiots who send out those annoying mails.
By the way, welcome to Proudly Nigerian. May we get to know you?

@Eskay: We do not participate in the circulation of scam mails, neither do we encourage nor condone its practice.
A few dishonest nigerians have discovered that there exist some dumb and greedy people out there who will part with some dollars with the hope of making millions thru shady and suspect transactions.
So if you and your folks ignore them, these scammers will eventually stop sending scam mails, since it costs them some money to dispatch the mails.
Have a nice day.

@amby: Well said. I had always wondered how those often badly-worded mails could get anyone conned, until it dawned on me that there are still stupid and/or greedy people out there who would swallow anything.

There's one born every minute as they say. I really think its more about greed and the feeling of superiority, you know " those black monkeys must be stupid I'm sure I can diddle them"
However, we must maintain the higher moral ground.
