I've tried a few websites, including image heavy ones, and it's the first time i've seen that error from the web browser.
For now i'd suggest you install opera-mini j2me for accessing the 4gmonline site.
excuse my ignorance, but I see there is a .jar and .jad file for opera mini. Do we install them both? If so in which order?

@Enrique
I ease it off the stand by placing two of my fingers between the bottom of the P990 and the stand base.
Thanks for replying Jah, I took the risk and did just like I'm taking the charger off
Just finished upgrading to the latest FW, seems much faster !
Did you notice any difference in the sound? Is it just me or there is a difference than the older FW?

come on then people. The P990i is set for general release by the major networks in the Uk. I've been lusting after one for ages now but I'm not convinced at all by the reports. the phone is clearly not working fully as intended. Now I'm a personal user and can prob get away with this then but anybody looking to use thsi phone as a reliable business phone sounds like they'll be disapointed.
I'm going to see what the deals are and then decide if I want one. I'm very much 50/50 at the mo.

As a business user I certainly need reliabilty. From what I've read so far I think the P990 has it for business use. The main problems seem to relate to Opera and its memory usage. That does not worry me. I can certainly adapt to the new user interface that earned the critical report from The Register.
What I do need is a database. On my P900 I use Databank. Until that or an equivalent is released the P990 will be of no use to me.

The most reliable business Smartphones I have used is the Nokia 9500 and P910i. Beacuse they are an evolution of previous devices. But they don't have 3g etc. So if you want reliable by an older generation device. Not even WM5 devices are as reliable as the older Symbian devices. But I repeat I am a business user and I have used the P990 and M600 for weeks and I have only had one surprise re-boot with the P990. With the latest firmware I hope I wont have any, especially if I keep an eye on the RAM usage.
