Xperia RX. Well I don't know what the name is going to be, but Sony's legendary imaging prowess is going to be integrated into Xperia.
Not a flagship, more a specialist device as I understand it. Not a stupid Galaxy camera style hybrid, but a premium device aimed at photographers who don't want to compromise. Basically what the RX series is all about for photography. Interestingly the device could be released under their Cybershot brand to get around Nokia's long term deal with Zeiss.

Is the RX or the photo-centric Xperia going to be released this year or next year?

Apple seeks to re-instate patent infringement claim against Motorola Mobility
Motorola Mobility had previously been able to convince the ITC that one of Apple's patents was invalid and that the other one had not been infringed on. The ITC rulings covered transparent screens that can handle multiple touches in different locations, that allow people to use a mobile phone by swiping or touching the screen.
ITC lawyer Megan Valentine, defending the ITC's ruling, said that Sony had an earlier patent for touchscreen technology called SmartSkin. Valentine said that the algorithms in Apple's patent and Sony's patent were "nearly identical," and she said that the ITC did the right thing in finding that the commercial success of the Apple iPhone did not mean that Apple's patent was unique. Motorola described Apple's description of how it came up with its invention as "equal parts fiction, hyperbole, and litigation-inspired hindsight," and added that the parts for the iPhone existed before Apple came up with its smartphone, and that Apple borrowed heavily from others to develop the phone.

I love it when huiyi suddenly posts something out of nowhere.
So, let me clear this up. The "One Sony" phone would have a 1/2" 20 MP camera sensor and the ODM phone would sport a MediaTek whatever the "nuclear" part means, a qHD 5-6" display and a touch pen?
Edit: Could the One Sony phone be Xperia RX?

Note:you guys remember i have thinked about this ,Sony RX camera in a phone,finally my dream is coming to streets
cant decide which sony phone to buy,as few months it will get outdated from sony itself
