Eigo de c nihongo is indeed difficult. but interesting, convenient and toanoshikatta (mahirap I express in eigo). Mostly all people do not understand so those who do converse in japansese for akward conversation.

HEY how do I join the Phil Ericsson Yahoo group???
my email is jplacson@mydestiny.net

P800 initial price will be around P42,000. (This is based on the estimate in the UK) 7650 is being sold here on the gray market for 95,000... it's REAL cost when it is released is P40,000... I say "good for you" to the sucker who buys it at 95,000. HAHA!

I'm using an upgraded T68.

@dexter: To my knowledge, the superbit DVDs are DVDs with a higher bit rate encoded. In other words, they're supposed to sound better. However, they aren't necessarily DTS encoded. I don't know if it' really does sound better as I've never gotten a chance to listen to any of them. I suppose there maybe some superbits with DTS.

As to DTS vs AC3/DD, again it's a matter of taste. I actually prefer using the DD as I find the DTS a tad too much. The way DTS is mastered, it is supposedly encoded with a higher bit rate vs DD. Sonically, mas malakas yung movie sound effects and bass ng DTS. Siguro tumatanda na nga talaga ako so I don't like the bass too loud. If you want to try out your DTS, check out the Pearl Harbor DVD DTS version. Go to the scene when Pearl Harbor is being attacked. That's a good test disc. Try using both DD and DTS and see which one you prefer. Also, The beginning of Swordfish is also a good test disc for audio. (Boys, not the Halle Berry scene.)
