So can anyone enlighten me on Mac compatibility? This was the bane of my life with my P900 until f****d about with all the plist files for several months, and was only marginally better with the Nokia N80 I tested and returned recently.

This - http://blogs.sun.com/martin/e[....]gging_apple_about_p990_support - suggests that the P900 is yet another phone that doesn't come out of the box with Mac support.

What's the deal? Can iSync files be hacked about with again for Mac support? Is there no chance until Leopard is released? Not even then? Reports?

Thanks

The o2 release date has now been changed to the 25th along with the w850. The delay is either due to a lack of stock, or there are rumours floating around that Vodafone have secured a 2 week exclusive.

On another note, the w950 is due out on the 2nd October!!

Where are the P990 newly owners? They-with the exception of few braves-inform us they got it then they disappear under mysterious conditions,is the phone abducting them??!!
Tell us your impressions, ups and downs of the phone, your unexpectedly good features and bad ones.
Compare the final product with MR preliminary preview, does the phone get better or worse?
Is it practical or niche solution? I mean does it attract everyone or professional ones?
How about its size? Does it fit into pockets?
Do you think you are ripped off by buying such high price phone?
Compare with K800 W850?

So currently its all down to SE, they cannot confirm delivery dates. Was friday the 9th now an Unconfirmed tuesday the 12th, which means they will not be instore till the 13th. This is all too much, why can't companies just give the correct timeframe instead of pissing us off by changing their minds all the time. VERSTOCK:

Having high deman is not, fun being able to get the product is!

i read a number of instances about Bluetooth connectivity of P990i is excellent.

Please confirm if synching with PC is also gr8. Which Bluetooth device is best to match with P990i.

Sadly my n70 was stolen in my own office while it was plugged into my PC hence this time forth(knowing that SE is a hot item) i will sync via blue tooth only - as leaving the phone unsecured is not a good idea.

What is the likely battery consumption.

Is the Transfer rate of Data ok.

Please advise. Perhaps i will grab the bluetooth solution first while the P990i is still finding its way to saudi arabia dunes. LOL
