@tan
Bt sync works fine with my laptop's built-in BT radio (Vaio laptop with Toshiba Bt chip).
Under 3G the P990 gives me 1 business day of use and I usually have 40% battery charge left (Bt on 12 hrs, 1.5hrs of music listening over BT, 15/20 mins of web browsing, 20 mins of ebooks, 20 mins of PIM and 10/15 mins of calls). Don't use wifi very often but does not seem to hit the battery that much and its very quick.
Be aware that the P990 only has 15MB of RAM and if you run multiple power apps (Media Player, Messaging & Opera) the P990 does still suffer memory leaks. Running them one at a time seems to have less impact on memory leaks. This means even now you may have to re-start you P990 say on the second/third day.

I press on the upper part and slide, but it won't release!! Tried many many times with no luck.

I have the same problem. You just really have to yank it hard to take off the cover. I think the problem is that there is a rubber pad inside the cover that help to keep the battery in place. I wonder if this was done because BST-34 was not ready and BST-33 was thinner and thus they needed to add this extra pcs?

It is difficult to be impartial as logic is not the only decision making criteria. E.g. sound reproduction on the P990 for many people is very good, better than other Smartphones but not everyone agrees.
Here are some thread to look at these for comparisons and views:

Hi..
well, if it's an open network all you have to do is to scan to find the wifi-spot and then connect to it. If it's encrypted you need the password and if it uses static IP you need to know what range it accepts.
I'm surfing from a wifi-spot at a hotell in amsterdam right now. they use wep..

Okay, so I know there are several P990 experts around here. I was hoping someone could help me with two things:
1. I am using DataViz Activesync, but it is programmed to update every 15 minutes. Isnt this Push email? And if it is Push email, shouldnt it be immediate and not a scheduled interval?
2. On a different note, are there programs for messaging (SMS) that work similar to the treo messaging programs?
Thank you,
Jesse
