@bombadil - nice pictures mate, like your 'trusty steed' I bet you had some fun, i wish you had taken more !

I like your first picture, my only suggestion for this and the three pictures directly after would be to ensure the white colour balance was either set to daylight or cloudy depending on the conditions and if need be also alter the exposure compensation a little. If I were to be critical and purely to answer your question....

I would say that the pictures look a little over exposed. Changing these settings will make a difference.

Your original (this is a nice shot mate)

I have altered the brightness and contrast a little, imo the shot looks a richer in colour, the differences are only small but I feel a little more pleasing to the eye.

@marlonski: Thanks for the honest opinion mate. Its only by your experience that I can hope to improve my pictures. Take care and again, wonderful snaps!

@bombadil - thanks mate, and your most welcome. You are taking some nice shots. I liked the 'don't ask, I just felt like it' shot, I think it worked very well mate.

Lighting and colour balance can really make a difference. It's quite difficult to 'get it right', I sometimes take two of more shots of the same thing, with different settings and then keep the one that I think works the best.
