basically the first question was the strength of the screen, is it tougher than the p910i? i.e. when you press the stylus on the lcd does it push on the screen or is it quite tougher than the p910i?

Just curious?

any sign of a Flash Lite player on there?

Would love to see how it performs on the UIQ 3 OS.

Bengal,

Thanks for all what you've been doing.

About the new screen. When you write that the P990's is much smaller than the one on a P800/900/910, can you get number as to the actual difference, height/width in mm if possible?

I see the new one as only so very slightly smaller. Being set a little higher might give a casual impression it's actually shorter than older ones.

Is/isn't that the case here?

As of yet, there is support for 900/1800/1900/2100 (UMTS Europe) only.... no announced "A" variant yet...

@Bengal Boy, just read tazmania comments. Ignore this chap. We appreciate the effort you make to bring the latest devices to the Symbian and WM communities and you do this in your own style.

The P990i's screen is 2.8 inches, 262K colors, with touch screen unlike the W900i. It is harder than the P900 touch screen in terms of resistance and easier to react than the WiZard's screen to stylus pressure. I am very impressed with it and the camera quality.

No flash support that I see in the browser menu...but this is a Proto-Type and final firmware may include it.

Jah, thanks, as a lot of the older Members know I've been doing this since the first P800 was introduced and alittle bit before doing the same thing with girls and photos of the phones,,,,Gee, just look at my Sig?

Hehehe... I wouldn't really say the P800 had an impressive display... even during its time. It kinda came late when all the PDAs and mid-high end SonyEricssons had 16bit displays... but ya I get what you mean.

Thanks for the review!
