If I flash using Davinci 13.7 as mentioned in this thread, do i have to be online. And can someone please give me detailed instructions how to flacs using davinci. Any help would be appreciated. thanks a lot.

no you only have to be online to download the firmware itself from topsony, but you don't need to be online to use davinci client to flash the firmware to your phone.

as far as detailed instructions go, I hate to say it but there is nothing very detailed about it. Basically, you tell davinci where the flash files are, make sure finalise and complete are unticked then click flash - onscreen instructions will tell you when to attach the phone etc.

You download from topsony whatever firmware you need (both the main and flash files).

Everything yo need to know is easily worthy.

This sounds like a lot of work. You need two different cables and all that. Just to change tones and menus in a phone? Tell me I don't have the K750 yet where does one get this DCU 60 cable? Comes with the package or not? This message was posted from a Nokia

Does anyone know which file must be edited (and how) to allow applications to read and write to phone memory?
Infact, in menu authorisations you can only choose between "no" (which blocks applications) or "ask every time" (which is very annoying because applications read and write many times). There is nothing like "ask once" but I think that maybe the file where the setting is stored can be edited for this purpose.
Anybody knows how? Thanks in advance!
