It would be stable if I did change the product code then download the latest firmware, however it will loose all the Vodafone branding and im sure if I develop some fault later on then Vodafone might refuse to fix it.
I done this to my Nokia N80 I turned it into a IE and it lost all the 02 branding as such, didn't really care as it was a eBay handset.
but that E65 is brand new and yes I gotta use till 2009 lmao!
even if I did sell it,
it wouldn't get me much there £100 brand new on eBay presentley.

Can you actually re-download the Voda firmware for free again though?
btw im gunna test it out see how it goes, my old handset froze up on the first week, then by the 14th day it had other issues re-booting, loosing sound

well, j.a.f box or mt-box incl voda fw too afaik, but not sure in that with those boxes u can alwasy flash your fone
